LAIR OF THE FROZEN DESTROYER!

 THIS SATURDAY!

This one-shot is designed with extremely high level characters in mind. To run this, I would like 6-8 characters of 20^th level. This game utilizes the current rules for Dungeons and Dragons 3.5. It is open to all but experience is highly recommended. This is not the game to learn how to play D&D. This isn’t just a fight with a powerful white dragon as well, as there are its minions and getting into the lair to consider, as well.
As for the specifics of character creation rules, they are as follows:

- Characters must be ECL 20, meaning that, if so desired, you can be a creature other than the core D&D races.

- Ability scores are to be generated by 32 point buy, as detailed in the Dungeon Master’s Guide, page 169, plus the ability score advancements you’d normally get for your hit dice or from race/prestige class modifiers.

- Character Wealth is normal for 20^th level: 760,000 gp. Spend as you wish. There may be reasons to have money left over, as this is more than just a hack and slash module.

- Hit Points is the maximum for the first hit die, plus average hit points + 1 for the remaining hit dice.

- Books that are allowed are as follows:

o The Core Books (Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, Monster Manual)

o The first set of Completes (Complete Warrior, Complete Divine, Complete Arcane, Complete Adventurer)

o Frostburn

o Spell Compendium

o Magic Item Compendium

- All spells and magic items are to follow the versions presented in the Spell Compendium and Magic Item Compendium, as appropriate. (i.e. Energy Burst abilities are synergy enchantments to their base Energy ability; ex. A weapon must have the Frost special ability before taking the Icy Burst special ability, which is now a +1 enhancement bonus, as per the Magic Item Compendium)

- All characters created must be presented to me PRIOR to the game. The deadline for this is Friday, January 25^th. If I don’t see the character by that time, you don’t play the character.

Finally, if you’re not too keen at making characters, there will be 3 stock characters available for play.
