So, the next Anime Con in Milwaukee will be February 27 - March 1, 2009 at UWM. Anyone interested in going? We could get the weekend pass for about $25 if we sign up now. I'm definitely interested, but I think I'm going to hold off on getting a pass for a little while until they update with a little more information (specifically, more details on those gray topics under "Events").

I volunteered last year for it. Twas pretty fun, though I don't think I'll be doing so again, as it's quite a haul to get there now that I'm graduated and living back in Illinois.

I went last year as well but my friends and I end up going really late so it was pretty much closing by the time we got there. Really, I just want to go to the vendors. That's usually all I go to the cons for but sometimes, I like to go to the panels. I don't go to any of the anime viewing panels because chances are, I've already seen the anime series but some of the celebrity panels are pretty cool. Like how last year, I believe they had Johnny Young Bosch, the guy who played the black ranger in MMPR.

Hey guys, it's Kevin. It's been a while but I just wanted to remind everyone that the Anime Milwaukee Con is this weekend starting Friday and goes until Sunday. I believe it's $15 for one day. I also read somewhere on their site that you need a badge for all major events and panels. So if you're only going for the vendors, like me, than you shouldn't need to pay.
