Matt Forbeck
Matt Forbeck has worked full-time in the adventure game industry for over fifteen years. Nearly all of the leading companies in the industry have published Matt’s work, including Wizards of the Coast, Games Workshop, TSR, Decipher, White Wolf, Pinnacle, Green Ronin, AEG, Reaper Miniatures, Image Comics, WildStorm Productions, Idea + Design Works, and many others.
Matt has designed collectible card games, roleplaying games, miniatures games, and board games, and he has written short fiction, comic books, and novels. Projects that Matt has worked on have been nominated for twenty-one Origins Awards and won twelve. This includes the Best Roleplaying Game for Deadlands and The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Game, Best Miniatures Rules for Warzone and The Great Rail Wars, Best Roleplaying Adventure for Independence Day, Best Fantasy Board Game for Genestealer, and Best Short Story for “Prometheus Unwound” from The Book of All Flesh. James Lowder
James Lowder is an American author and editor, working most often within the fantasy, dark fantasy, and horror genres. His earliest novels were part of the Forgotten Realms and Ravenloft shared universe book lines, but beginning in the late 1990s he turned his attention more often to creator-owned projects. Some of his short stories have been cited in the honorable mention list of the annual Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror. He was an Origins Award finalist in the Best Short Fiction category for his 2003 novella, “The Night Chicago Died.” His novels have been translated into more than ten languages.
